Woodstock Vermont Area Attractions

Woodstock is a small town with with some big-city pleasures (a movie theater, gourmet food, boutiques). About $350,000 buys you a three-bedroom, 1,800-square-foot home with two baths, on 2.5 acres with maybe a small pond. Jobs are best found out of town unless you want to work retail, in a restaurant or inn. Dartmouth College and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in nearby Hanover, NH offer more well paid positions. Two major cross country ski areas, and three nearby alpine ski areas—Killington and Mount Ascutney, plus the town 's own Suicide Six will keep you busy in the winter. In summer, spring and fall, trail ride, bike and hike in picturesque surroundings.
